This fixture is everything I had hoped it would be. Very simple and classic. A definate for old house restorers but could also work with in a transitional decor. Great light output and the glass shade is spectacular. We used the chain as opposed to the rod as our old house ceiling was somewhat unlevel. Also ordered the smaller size to use in a narrow hallway with a shorter chain as a "semi flush mount". Again, great light source. Totally happy.
