The fixture seems well-built and looks good. My problem with installation was that I was installing into an existing electrical ceiling box that was the shallow style. After almost completing assembly, I discovered that the screws to attach the fixture to the cross bar were too long. I had to disconnect the wiring, take the crossbar off again, remove the screws, and hacksaw them to decrease their length so that the nuts would fit without leaving a gap between the ceiling and the fixture. Supplying an additional set of screws (about 5/8" shorter) would help.
