The idea is great. Unfortunately the construction of the electronics is exceptionally poor. The electronics, made in China, does not control the unit as advertised. The only control over th elight is the on off switch . The dimmer function does not operate and the remote feature is worthless.
It would have been better to buy some other, traditional light and install it with a wired, remote switch.

I purchased 6 of these lights as I thought the concept and design to be the best. Unfortunately the quality of the construction is below acceptable standards.

The remote dimmer switch does not work. Several of the remote controllers do not even turn the light on and off.

The set screw does not work that keeps the light in the correct position.
